Thanksgiving

I am so very Thankful for God and all He has done for me in this life of mine. Thankful for the Man I have been given to share forever with... the children I have born... so many things. Thank you, Lord. I love you.

Thankful

Today I am thankful for: Grace. I am so humbled by how much Jesus loves me and I can't believe He still does even when I am how I am. I have had such a bad attitude lately. Mean to my kids, my husband, my family. I have so many mixed emotions and sometimes it is all so overwhelming. I take out way to much stress on my husband. I feel so convicted but keep doing it. Why is that? He, who loves me so much. Why would I do that to him? I love him so much and I am shown such unconditional love, even though he has every right to treat me the same way that I treat him. Yet he treats me with love and kindness and is so very good to me. I am Blessed. And I am amazed. ...and then HE gets a hold of my heart and I can't help but wonder why HE loves me so... and then I find forgiveness... and Grace. Matchless Grace. Thank You, Jesus. I love you.

Today...

Not much is going on today. I am just hangin' out with my 2 guys right now and thinking of my 2 girls. I miss them so much and can't wait to pick them up from camp tomorrow. They have been there since Sunday. It will be nice to have them home.

Our garden is doing quite nicely and I can't wait to harvest God's provision. I don't know why I didn't have one until now...

We are looking forward to spending days together doing nothing, going to the pool and just loving each other. I really want to visit some family soon and am excited about seeing them! :)

How does your garden grow?

Today we planted some more~ cantaloupe, sweet banana peppers, okra, tomatoes and some herbs...just for fun... mint, parsley, sweet basil, and lavender. I am excited to see the coming changes...not just in the plants. :) I will post pictures soon.

Try Harder

I know that with each new day comes hope...even when the sun is not shining.

I know that truth is evident when I am really trying to listen.

I know that when I am feeling lonely it is only because I have forgotten who loves me most.

I know that if I push myself beyond what I believe to be capable of, then I'm personally in for a neat surprise.

I know that my hands are to be my Savior's hands...to be used in any way He may need me.

I know that the gift of a second chance can be life changing.

I know what my mom and dad know.

I know that I can do better.

I know that He lives.

I know that one day I will become who He wants me to be.

I know that motherhood is the greatest kind of good out there.

I'm going to try harder.

Augusta Chronicle

Today we went on a field trip with the other homeschooling families from our church and we had a great time! We went to the see how the local paper gets put together and printed. The presses weren't running when we were there today, which would have been so awesome for us to see, but it was really neat and the kids loved it! I am already looking forward to our next field trip! ;)

Yea...

I'm sorry it has been a while since I was on here last. You know how things are when your hubby comes home after being gone for a year though, right? And having a baby on top of that! We are doing well...enjoying each other a lot and just living. I hope to put some pictures up soon...not really sure when though. I need to find that camera....

The Final Countdown

Well friends, It has come down to the last 2 weeks before Travis will be coming home! I wanted to send out a thank you to all of those who have been praying for him and for us. We could not have survived this again if it hadn't been for the Hand of God and the grace that He gives us each and every moment. I am so blessed to have such amazing family and friends who support me in every way! I love you all so very much!

End of Summer....

Well, it seems as though Summer has come and gone and we are so ready for October to be here so daddy will be here with us again. We have had a wonderful time these past few months and are thankful for all God has done for us. He has provided us with so much more than I could ever have asked or imagined. Friends

We have met some wonderful new friends here in Augusta and are looking forward to getting to know them. The girls went to camp today so I am home with my 2 boys. We have already had a good time and it's only the first day! I hope you find time to enjoy the little things in life, they are the greatest.....

Independence Day

We had such a great day with my mom and my niece at Nash Farm in Hampton, Ga. The fireworks were great but most of all we enjoyed being together.....

Callaway Gardens

The kids and I took a trip with some dear friends last weekend to the beach at Calloway. We had lots of fun and are trying to keep busy this summer with activities planned every week. Otherwise I think I might go a little crazy! ;)

Field Day

The girls had a great time at their field day last week. I can't believe school is over already! I am glad summer is here....sleeping in, lounging around, trips to the movies, the pool, etc, etc. Happy Summer everyone! ;))
